Vinyl Flight Night - Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz

Join us for a very special Halloween Vinyl Flight Night on the Dark Side of Oz, as we screen the Wizard of Oz on our big screen synced with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

RSVP here:

Vinyl Flight Night hosts record listening nights at Triple Crossing Brewery. We invite guest hosts to guide us through the most interesting things to know and parts to listen for on the record of the night, and we listen through a full record as a group.

This idea was born in a JMU Recording course, circa 2003 when founder Jacob Briggs was introduced to the idea of listening for specific instruments, parts, and recording techniques over the course of a song. These listening nights began to take shape in Nashville Tennessee where a group of musicians gathered regularly to share and discuss their favorite albums. Now it's here in Richmond and Vinyl Flight Night is finally a public event.

Triple Crossing Brewery loves music, and vinyl and adopted the idea right away. They agreed to host these events on Sunday evenings after the brewery officially closes, so we'll have the place to ourselves for the rare opportunity to grab a beer, quiet down, and take in a record the way it was intended.

We hope you'll join us!
