Out of the Blue Porter
After a lengthy hiatus, and with a slight push from the crowd, our Porter conditioned in toasted coconut returns for the season.
Utilizing one of our historic more brown than black base grists layered with multiple specialty and roasted malts, and dosed with just the right amount of in-house toasted coconut for a balanced profile of dry roasty bitterness and sweet, toasty coconut.
The in house toasting of said coconut is something that deserves a nod - our dedicated production team painstakingly toasts by sheet pan and spatula, many pounds of shaved coconut over the course of a few days of work. To say that we care about it, is a massive understatement.
An easy winter sipper purposely intended for multiple pours, we notice oven toasted coconut, german chocolate cake, and roasty espresso-like bitterness. 6% ABV
